First impressions last, and so do Platinum Entry Doors. Platinum Doors are a great alternative to timber or cored doors, harnessing the strength, durability and high performance of Aluminium frames and panels, while still providing opportunities to create traditional, modern or custom designs that suits the character of your home.
Platinum Doors are attractive, and will not split, swell or warp, or need frequent repainting. They are able to withstand extreme weather and environmental conditions, and require little maintenance. Please consult your Fairview fabricator concerning recommended applications.

Panel Doors

The basis for all Platinum Doors, these doors have simple linear styling elements that can be reconfigured or added to, to create a very impressive entry. Options include:

• Solid panels - will provide extra privacy and security.
• Glass panels - provide extra internal light to an entranceway and can either be clear annealed glass or obscure glass for extra privacy. Double glazing is a good option for internal temperature control and reducing condensation.
• Decorative Glass - these designs all add to the appeal of the entranceway; options include leadlighting, sandblasted glass, deco glass and qualage

Arched Door

All of these doors have a curve within their design.

• Details - some of the doors have recessed panels and others have decorative mouldings sitting proud of the door; both create a traditional, elegant look.
• Glass options - keep in mind the amount of light you require and the opportunity for decoration.
• Size - there are restrictions on the size of these doors due to the arch size, please discuss further with your Fairview fabricator.

Double Doors

Double doors create an imposing entranceway. All our single panel doors can be mirrored in order to provide a larger entranceway to your home. To create a grand effect, sidelights can also be incorporated into the entrance design.

Sidelights/Half Doors

Sidelights are an optional accessory and can either be fixed or manufactured to become a half door to create a wider entranceway. Half doors are usually made half the width of the door panel, and are held in place with unobtrusive, recessed flush bolts.

Hardware

Locks, knobs and handles add the finishing touch, and make a statement about your design. A wide range of hardware is available to enhance the appearance and functionality of your doors. Choose fittings to subtly define the feel of your home, whether it is luxuriant, suave, minimalist, or anything in between. Often it is the simple things that make your life more pleasant, such as keying alike, or colour matching a door handle. Ask your fabricator to show you the options.

Colour

To help you select a colour that will complement your home, please discuss with your Fairview fabricator. If colour matching is critical we do recommend obtaining a metal colour swatch.
